WE ARE A CREATIVE PRACTICE DRIVEN BY CURIOSITY AND LEARNING.
We create bespoke installations, furniture, and experiences that combine traditional craft with digital fabrication. From multisensory installations to computational ceramics, we bring together diverse expertise to realize unique visions that invite wonder and deeper engagement.
Bubaki Design is a collaborative practice creating bespoke installations, objects, and experiences. Driven by curiosity and a passion for learning, our studio combines traditional craft techniques with digital fabrication to solve complex design challenges.
Our Philosophy
We’re particularly interested in how our senses shape our understanding of the world. This drives our work in multisensory design, where touch, sound, sight, and movement combine to create experiences that are both technically sophisticated and emotionally resonant.
Our approach considers materials, interactions, perceptions, and contexts as interconnected elements in every project. Whether collaborating with artists, institutions, or private clients, we believe in thoughtful making that creates meaningful connections between people and their environment.
The Collaborative Approach
Our studio brings together backgrounds in engineering, music, performance, research, and traditional craft. This diversity allows us to approach problems from multiple angles and discover solutions that wouldn’t emerge from any single discipline.
We work with a trusted network of specialists, collaborators, and makers who share our commitment to quality and innovation. Every project becomes an opportunity to learn something new and push the boundaries of what’s possible when digital tools serve human needs.
Research & Development
Much of our work exists at the intersection of traditional knowledge and contemporary technology. We’re constantly exploring new techniques in computational ceramics, sustainable materials, precision fabrication, and multisensory interaction design.
This research isn’t separate from our client work - it directly informs and enhances the solutions we develop for installations, furniture, lighting, and architectural projects.
